Kojo Soboh interacting with some of the nursing mothers
The Executive Director of EMY Africa/Carbon AV, Kojo Soboh, last Friday paid medical bills of some stranded nursing mothers at the Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Assembly (LEKMA) Hospital, Teshie in Accra.
This follows the inability of some new mothers to pay their bills after discharge, and the visit of Kojo Soboh ensured their bills were taken care of.
This was made possible when the former music star visited the health facility to pay the bills for nursing mothers, to commemorate his birthday and Easter celebration and provide them with the opportunity to reunite with their families again.
Additionally, he provided clothes, diapers, and other mother care items to the maternity ward of the healthcare facility.
In an Instagram post sighted by BEATWAVES, Mr. Soboh indicated that, “this year, my birthday falls on Sunday (Easter Sunday) and so I was moved to spread love in celebration of this special day because Easter signifies the greatest love of all demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ, who died on the cross to save mankind.”
He continued, “I visited the maternity ward of Lekma Hospital, Teshie, Accra with my team from EMY Africa. I settled the bills of some mothers in the hospital because they were unable to pay their bills. We also donated baby items and some sanitiser dispensing machines to the hospital.”
The managers of the Lekma Hospital and the beneficiary nursing mothers expressed gratitude to Kojo Soboh and the EMY Africa team for the benevolent acts.
