The H4P (Here for Perfection) Organisation has brought smiles to inmates of the Cape Coast School for the Deaf and Blind.

It is part of the NGO’s support for persons with disability (PWDs) through its ‘Celebration of Love’ project at the Cape Coast School for the Blind and Deaf on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

The event was characterised by a free medical outreach, donation to the school, recognition of hardworking staff and the distribution of gifts to the students, teaching and non-teaching staff.

The CEO of the H4P Organisation, Bishop Dr. Charles Cofie Hackman, appreciated the dignitaries present, the medical team, the H4P team and the various sponsors for coming together to show love towards PWDs.

He stressed on the importance of educating children with disabilities. “When given the right opportunities, these special needs children can rise to be prominent people in society, including being the president of the country,” he said.

He promised to continue, through the H4P Organisation, to offer every needed support for PWDs.

A special feature on the day was Bishop’s Special Awards to hardworking staff of the school such as Yusif Ibrahim, a dedicated security personnel, Nixon Okyere – a senior house master who has worked in the school for over 15 years and Madam Lydia Asante – the Assistant Head in charge of Academics who has worked in the school for over 20 years.

They received cash prizes and assorted gift items.

A donation of assorted medication was also made to the school clinic and furniture for the head master’s office.

Mr. Abraham Annang Yemoson, head master of the Cape Coast School for the Blind and Deaf, could not hold his excitement at the demonstration of love by the H4P Organisation to the school.

He was appreciative to Bishop Dr. Charles Cofie Hackman and H4P for the kind gesture.
