Nana Agradaa and husband
Controversial evangelist, Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, widely known as Nana Agradaa, says her release from prison was the result of divine intervention through Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom.
Speaking at Opambour’s church on Sunday, March 22, 2026, Agradaa disclosed that while behind bars, she instructed her husband, Angel Asiamah, to seek the prophet’s help.
“I told my husband that if he wants me to be released from prison, he has to visit Opambour. The Spirit of God revealed to me that without his prayers and favour, I will never come out,” she told congregants.
According to her, a divine revelation made it clear that her freedom was tied directly to the prophet’s intervention.
“I told him, if you want me out, go to Opambour, the nation’s prophet. If you don’t, then continue whatever you are doing. The Spirit and angels of God told me to send him to that man,” she added.
Agradaa claims that following her husband’s visit, her situation changed, ultimately leading to her release.
“With his prayers and favour, I came out,” she said.
Agradaa was originally sentenced to 15 years in prison on July 3, 2025. However, the ruling was later overturned by the Amasaman High Court, which reduced the sentence to 12 calendar months, describing the initial punishment as excessive.
She was subsequently released after serving two-thirds of the revised sentence in line with Ghana’s remission policy.
