Charterhouse Productions, the organisers of Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), have announced the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) as the official venue for this year’s awards.

Originally set to take place at the Palms Convention Centre, this year’s TGMA will now be held at the Grand Arena within the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, May 9, 2026, starting at 7 p.m.

According to a press statement by the organisers, the decision to move to the Grand Arena is a testament to the growing scale and production ambitions of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

With its spacious capacity, advanced technical infrastructure, and enhanced production flexibility, the Grand Arena is poised to provide a world-class experience that audiences have come to expect from TGMA.

Since 2019, the venue has served as the home for the awards, designed specifically to accommodate the dynamic staging, broadcasting, and audience engagement needs that characterise this celebrated event.

“Charterhouse Productions extends its heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders involved, particularly headline sponsor Telecel Ghana and the Ministry of Creative Arts, for their unwavering support.

“The organisation also appreciates the collaboration of the Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in facilitating this year’s event at the Grand Arena and contributing to the growth of Ghana’s creative sector,” part of the statement read.
