Madam Peace
The very first edition of Couple’s Greensome Challenge golf tournament is expected to hit the Achimota Golf Club on October 28.
Tee-off is 8am.
The event, an initiative of the Madam Peace Akwei, Achimota Club Lady captain seeks to encourage couples in the game of golf.
She revealed in a telephone interview that signing-up has been encouraging and she is looking forward to a great tournament.
“This is to encourage couples to take the game to another level; it is healthy and will certainly promote family union. Some companies and individuals have expressed interest to sponsor it,” said Madam Peace.
It is on the theme ‘Register with your partner or we find you a match’ with a cool fee of ¢100 (Cady fee inclusive).
Preceding the event is registration at 6:30am on the match day to be followed with breakfast.
