Adiza Zongo Pioneer with some Kayayies
NATIONAL PRESIDENT of Head Porters, Adiza Zongo Pioneer, has descended heavily on the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to him, the NDC has no justification to criticise the 110 ministers appointed by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
She alleged that the NDC secretly appointed more ministers, which exceeded the 110 ministers that the NPP has appointed.
Adiza insisted that Akua Donkor, leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), was among the numerous shadow ministers during the NDC regime.
She said Akua Donkor and the remaining shadow ministers were paid by the state on a monthly basis without the knowledge of the citizenry.
Adiza stated that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is an honest person that is why he had been bold enough to name all his 110 ministers.
She said the money that the NDC wasted on its colossal number of presidential aides (shadow ministers) at the Flagstaff House, could have been used to develop the country.
Adiza said appointing 110 ministers and scrapping the market levy on Kayayie within few days in government is better than secretly using state funds to pay people like Akua Donkor, who was a shadow minister
