The West Africa Retail Chain Limited (WARC), operators of Shop & Save, a popular retail company in Ghana, has presented a Hyundai Accent worth $20,000 to Alan who emerged the overall winner of the ‘Shop & Save Win A Car’ promotion.
Under the promotion, which runs from August to November this year, Sylvester Akutey, Obed Adjei, Dzifa and Charles won GH¢1,000 shopping vouchers each, while 15 others each won GH¢500 shopping vouchers to purchase any item at Shop & Save during the period.
The General Manager of WARC, Mike Chambers, who presented the car after the draw at the Adjiringanor branch to the winner in Accra yesterday, expressed gratitude to workers of the company.
He said the hard work of the workers has kept the company growing and gaining popularity.
Mr Chambers congratulated the winners and encouraged the general public to shop with them to enjoy competitive prices for quality products at the branches at Adenta, Adjiringanor or Spintex Road.
The Operations Manager, Ben Akutteh, said customers and suppliers are very supportive.
Shop & Save, he said, deals in consumables, both local and foreign and supports the growth of other local companies as well.
Alan, the overall winner, said he has never won anything in his life and so found it difficult to believe the news when he was contacted on phone at Tema.
“I thought you were kidding me because I never won anything in my life before.”
He expressed thanks to Shop & Save for the initiative and encouraged them to continue rewarding customers.
