Musician and University of Ghana Student Representative Council (UGSRC) President-elect, Guru NKZ, born Maradona Yeboah Adjei has voiced his support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s digitalisation agenda.
Guru believes that Bawumia’s policies will provide significant opportunities, particularly for the creative industry and the youth.
Speaking in an interview on Property FM, he highlighted that the push toward digitalisation aligns with the global trend and offers a promising solution to Ghana’s economic challenges.
“The reason we vote is because of the policies and ideologies of a person. If the world is going digital and someone wants to take us further into that space, I will support them,” he said.
Guru emphasised that Bawumia’s plans for digitalisation would help create jobs and alleviate economic pressures, which, in turn, would benefit creatives and other sectors.
“The jobs created through this initiative will help neutralise the pressure on our falling currency, and I see this policy as very effective. I support it because it will move the country forward, not backwards,” he stated.
He further explained that his support for Bawumia is based on the potential of these policies to benefit the entire nation, not out of personal bias or hatred.
“If the policies work out as planned, it will help all of us,” he added, encouraging others to focus on long-term benefits over political divisions.
