The maiden edition of a local food fair dubbed ‘Chow Ghana Festival’ will take place on June 10 and 11 at Venue Ghana, behind Tullow Oil, Dzorwulu in Accra from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day, organisers have disclosed.
According to them, the event which will be held annually is being organised to showcase Ghanaian dishes, as well as other made-in-Ghana products.
The organisers revealed that more than 100 local food vendors, fashion designers, health practitioners, bloggers, among others, have been invited to participate and showcase their products to more than 4, 000 attendees.
The event which is expected to attract people from all walks of life, including expatriates, will witness performances from some selected highlife musicians and cultural groups billed to entertain patrons who will attend the food fair with their various songs and stagecraft.
‘Chow Ghana Festival’, first of its kind, will create and encourage a bond with Ghana’s food brands, making them the people’s first choice.
