DJ Flex Wows Non-Ghanaians At Dubai Concert

Ghanaian entertainers making Ghana proud outside the country is refreshing and Bright Appiah Sefah, alias DJ Flex, has joined the train but this time, in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

The concert, dubbed Akwaaba Nite, is a grand occasional event organised by a group of Ghanaians in Dubai to showcase the many talents of Ghanaians to a foreign crowd.

DJ Flex did not disappoint his home country as he was made the official DJ for the event.

The show had talents from music, standup comedy, kente fashion exhibition as well as rap battles.

The crowd, mostly made up of young natives of Dubai , had a swell time enjoying music of Ghanaian origin, from Highlife to Hiplife.

DJ Flex was the traction of the night as he had a theme song to fit every segment of the show.
His spinning mostly got the crowd to their feet as if the environment was a night club scene.

In a later interview, DJ Flex told media men who came around that he felt like the greatest time of his history has been made having been able to wow foreigners again.

“I am in a new environment so I had to be meticulous in my selection and interludes. Not that I haven’t done shows for a foreign crowd before, but I have never had a huge crowd of foreign audience like this before. I am glad the organizers invited me” he said.

Akwaaba Nite is organised ocasionally in Dubai as a form of cultural tourism exchange event for mostly the youth .
