Don’t Send Ghana Back – CVM

Razak Kojo

The Concerned Voters Movement (CVM) has issued a statement calling on all Ghanaians to give President Akufo-Addo four more years.

Founder and President of the movement, Razak Kojo, currently campaigning in the Ashanti Region, pointed out that considering the miles that President Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party had covered within four years, it would be suicidal to return Ghana to “the days of incompetent management of the economy by Mr. Mahama and his NDC.”

According to CVM, four more years for the NPP will “protect, preserve and continue the good works they have started.”

“It would be unfair and suicidal to truncate the good work of President Akufo-Addo who needs majority MPs to legislate in the august house,” the statement said.

“A vote for President Akufo-Addo would be a vote for the continuation of the Free SHS policy, Planting for Food and Jobs, NABCO, free water, free electricity, 307 ambulances, stable supply of electricity (no dumsor), 1 Village 1 Dam, creation of six new regions and lasting peace in Dagbon among the other good achievements of the NPP administration.”

We could count on the votes of the many direct and indirect beneficiaries of the Free SHS across the country, the CVM stated.

“Let us not forget the ambulances which the government distributed across the country and how these have impacted on the health of the people, the 1Village 1Dam, the 1 District 1 Warehouse and all the other good things,” CVM continued.

They also said “we urge the chiefs and the good people of Oti, Bono, Bono East, Western North, Ahafo, Savannah and North East to make good their promise to show appreciation to President Akufo-Addo for walking his talk of creating new regions for them.”

They also said “cocoa farmers are some of the beneficiaries of the good policies of the government and will not be left out when votes for President Akufo-Addo are being counted. The Zongos will show appreciation to President Akufo-Addo for fulfilling his promise of creating a Zongo Development Fund to cater for their development needs and that is not all; ‘for the first time in the history of Ghana a ministry of Zongo Affairs has been created’.”
