Ethiopian Airlines Flies Pastors, Journalists To Israel

The pastors and journalists embarking on the pilgrimage to Israel

About 14 Ghanaian pastors, led by Rev. Kennedy Okosun of Action Chapel, will be embarking on a holy pilgrimage to Israel tomorrow.

The trip, which is being organized by Ethiopian Airlines, in collaboration with One People Travels-Ghana and Israel Holy Land Tours, is to offer the pastors the opportunity to see where Christianity began and tour some of the historic places mentioned in the Bible.

The holy pilgrimage is also expected to increase their Christian faith and strengthen their relationship with God.

The five-day trip to the Holy Land by Christians, which starts from Friday, August 5 to 10, 2016, will see journalists from leading media houses in Ghana, including DAILY GUIDE, participating in the pilgrimage.

The group will tour places such as Bethlehem, Nativity Church and Shepherd’s Field;  Jerusalem, Mount of Olives, Mount Sion, Gethsemani, Church of the Holy Sepulcher and the Wailing wall; Jericho, Qasrel, Galilee and Capharnaum.

Genet Michael, Area Manager, Ethiopian airlines, said the airline is happy to partner One People Travel to fly pastors and church leaders to Israel.

She said, “We have holiday packages for families, churches and everyone who wants to travel to Tel Aviv or any other destination.”

Ethiopian Airlines is the fastest growing airline in Africa. In its seven decades of operations, Ethiopian Airlines has become one of the continent’s leading carriers unrivalled in efficiency and operational success.
