Fidelity Bank Launches 10× Richer Promo

Jim Baiden, MD of Fidelity Bank

Fidelity Bank, Ghana’s largest privately owned bank, yesterday launched its ‘10× Richer’ promotion in Accra to reward its loyal customers.

Jim Baiden, Managing Director of Fidelity Bank, who launched the promotion, called on Ghanaians to save to ensure financial security in case of an emergency.

In the past, he said the bank rewarded hundreds of its customers through innovative promotions such as ‘Reach for Gold’, ‘Go for Gold’, ‘Big Fat Zero’ and ‘Save for Gold’.

“Today, we have gathered here to launch the Fidelity 10x richer promotion. We are 10 years old and we are giving our customers the opportunity to be 10X richer.

For every GH¢500 or multiples of it that a customer deposits and maintains in their account for a least a month, the customer will get an electronic coupon which will be entered into a draw at the end of the month.

The more they deposit, the better their chances of winning. At the end of each month, five lucky customers will each have their coupon balance multiplied by 10.

“There will be five monthly draws and a grand draw at the end of the promotion. In the grand draw, three lucky customers will have their coupon balance multiplied by 10X10. GH¢150, 000 is up for grabs in the grand draw. In all, we are rewarding customers with cash prizes of almost GHS300, 000.

“New customers will be required to open a current or savings account with a minimum deposit of GH¢500 or multiples of GH¢500. Existing customers will be required to top up existing account balances with GH¢500 or multiples of GH¢500. The new funds must also stay in the account for a minimum of one month or more to qualify.”

The 10× Richer promotion is expected to run for a period of six months from June, 2017 and end in November 2017.

Lucky customers will receive rewards to the tune of GH¢275,000.

In each month, 5 lucky customers will win a total of GH¢25, 000 (5,000 each) while three lucky customers stand the chance of winning 50,000 each in the grand draw in December.
