Inside view of the studio
A new state-of-the-art recording studio established for all genres and all classes of musicians has officially been opened at Teshie in Accra.
Named the Gavali Music Recording Studio, the facility is equipped with the latest technology for recording, music rehearsals, tracking and session work, long form audio recording for documentaries, podcasts and audio beds for commercials.
The studio has been equipped with Midas Verona 48 tracts mixing board, Focusrite amplifies with out-board gear equipment and universal audio platinum bundles plug-ins among others.
Some of the services the studio offer include mixing, mastering, voice over, beat production among others.
The management of Gavali Music Group told Beatwaves that it decided on setting up the studio in order to help impact positively in society and also help nurture and grow new talents.
Gavali Music Group is dedicated to the development of artistes with outstanding talent and the desire to use that talent to spread the Gospel through music.
The group, Beatwaves gathered, was very passionate about helping young Ghanaian artistes rise through the roughness of the music industry; and was committed to finding and nurturing talents.
The Chief Executive Officer of Gavali Music Group, Richard Ackah Essien, aka Magic Rocker, a Ghanaian musician, producer, re-mixer and songwriter based in Chicago, USA, told Beatwaves that the studio was to offer the brilliant array of multitalented artists the platform to unearth their skills with an affordable and a professional recording studio in a flexible environment, allowing all the chance to step up and take their musical careers to the next level.
According to him, his outfit sees Ghana’s creative arts industry as a major growth sector with so much talents, which have been bedeviled with lack of access to studios due to lack of capital, hence his outfit is determined to address the challenge accordingly.
Aimed at creating jobs and empowering the people, especially the youth with interest, the facility would offer a renting space for their recordings.
Magic Rocker has worked with a number of local and internationally known performing artistes.
The studio is being managed by renowned engineers like Joshua Tetteh, aka King Jay Beat, and Mr. Sarge, who also runs 7DS TV station.
The public is therefore invited to call on Gavali Music studio which is located at Teshie 205 off the Lekma Hospital road in Accra for any musical production.
