Coronavirus related deaths in Ghana have increased to 299.
That was after the country recorded two additional deaths linked to the virus.
Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, made this known to the media on Sunday, September 27, 2020.
According to him, some 131 new Covid19 cases have been recorded in Ghana.
The new cases have increased Ghana’s tally to 46,353, GHS told the media at the information ministry.
According to the Minister, the new cases were recorded in the Upper East, Oti, Ahafo, Volta, Eastern, Ashanti and Greater Accra Regions.
He said Western, Central, Bono East, Western North, Northern, North East, Savannah, Upper West and Bono Regions recorded no new cases.
The number of recoveries/discharge is now 45,577 with 477 active cases, the Minister stated at the Sunday briefing.
