Ghana Is A Sick Country – Berla Mundi

Berla Mundi

Media personality, Berla Mundi, has described Ghana as a sick country because of her frustration with noise pollution.

In a post on X, Berla Mundi fumed at how a truck selling “nkura duro” (rat medicine) blasts loud music and makes announcements as early as 6 a.m., disturbing people who are either still asleep or preparing for work.

“Ghana is a sick country, honestly! Explain to me why there’s a truck selling ‘nkura duro’ with loud music and announcements as early as 6 am on the streets,” she wrote.

Berla criticised this behaviour and urged those responsible to stop disturbing others.

“When people are sleeping or getting ready for work, that’s noise pollution,” she added.

The post has since sparked mixed reactions on social media.
