The upcoming Gratitude 2024 Concert promises to be a night of reverence, music, and celebration as Women in Gospel Music (WIGM) gather to honour God.
Scheduled for November 3, 2024, at the Fountain Gate, Bliss Pastures at Olebu, on the Anyaa-Pokuase highway, the event will begin at 4 p.m., bringing together some of the finest voices in Ghana’s gospel scene.
Hosted under the leadership of Abena Ruthy, President of WIGM and Rev. Dr. Mary Ghansah, Founder, Gratitude 2024 will feature the distinguished Women in Gospel Music Choir, comprising several acclaimed artistes in gospel music.
Attendees can anticipate powerful performances by notable stars, including Georgia Agyei, Maame Justin, and many others. Each artiste brings a unique style and passion, making the choir a dynamic representation of talent and faith. Rev. George Ntiador, Head Pastor of Fountain Gate, is poised to host this spirit-filled event.
Beyond the choir, Gratitude 2024 will acknowledge WIGM members who have released new singles or albums this year. This recognition serves to highlight the contributions of female gospel artistes in inspiring the Christian community through music.
“This event isn’t just a concert; it’s a tribute to the women who devote their lives to ministry through gospel music,” says Abena Ruthy. “We come together to say ‘thank you’ to God for His faithfulness and to celebrate each other’s accomplishments.”
The programme promises to be a spiritually-uplifting experience, marking a highlight on the calendar for gospel music enthusiasts across Ghana. As the sounds of gratitude fill the Fountain Gate, the event will undoubtedly echo the resilience, faith, and unity among Ghana’s women in gospel music.
