Hopeson Adorye speaking at the launch
THE PARLIAMENTARY candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Kpone-Katamanso Constituency, Hopeson Y. Adorye, has called on the party’s campaign team and rank and file not to allow money to influence their dedication towards a vigorous campaign ahead of the December 7 polls.
According to him, the NPP, this time around, is ready to snatch the Kpone-Katamanso seat and also retain President Akufo-Addo for a second term.
He was speaking at the launch of the NPP campaign team for the Kpone-Katamanso Constituency.
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has occupied the Kpone-Katamanso seat in Parliament since Ghana returned to constitutional rule in 1992, but Mr. Adorye said the NPP was determined to break the jinx this time around.
He charged the newly elected members of the campaign team and party members to remain focused and work hard to win big for the NPP.
According to him, the NDC, during its long period of occupying the Kpone-Katamanso seat, had failed to develop the constituency.
He said the constituents had been complaining about the lack of development in the area despite their unflinching support for the NDC, adding he would reverse the trend if they voted for him and the NPP.
He touched on his vision for the constituency and said all was set for a vigorous campaign to win the seat.
