It reminded me of the Zongo mortuary promise. As if it was not bad enough such crass initiative found itself in our manifesto, the campaign somehow thought the more they discussed it as a request by moslems, it will make it credible and change the sorry image of lack of vision and ideas. So they kept at it. They got imams to defend it during rallies, agents discussed and defended it on radio and on tv! The flag bearer actually discussed and defended it on national television! They were too blind to notice they looked more sorry each time they defended this Zongo Mortuary promise! They looked and sounded like idiots, yet they kept at it!
Seeing Dr. Kpessah White strenuously defend the indefensible, thinking the more forceful he presents himself, somehow it resolves the buffoonery of leaving the strong room on the instruction of the very person you were sent there to monitor!
I can’t speak of his integrity, but he’s not a particularly smart guy. Notwithstanding his academic degrees. He may very well be academically gifted, but he’s either grossly dishonest (which I kinda doubt) or he’s just not smart!
And all this for what?! Sad!
I honestly felt bad for the guy.
You say you were instructed to leave your post, then you admit the person who instructed you had no such powers to instruct you, and further admit the person who instructed you, never spoke to you directly! I mean wharrissdis?!
It’s a mess!
But it shall be well!
We must be pragmatic with our outlook on what we hope for as a party. We must be sincere with ourselves and not pretend technicalities to defend the indefensible!
When they put out the video of Rojo talking about being sent on an errand by Jean Mensah, and invoking the phrase “good faith” (as though we were on a pious mission) I asked about the wisdom in their action. And today it has proven to be the “gravamen” of their dishonest witness statement! That video was fraudulent, and the fraud was exposed in court today!
