I’m A Superstar– Adwoa Smart Touts

Actress Belinda Naa Ode Oku, popularly known as Adwoa Smart, has said her diminutive stature has been a blessing to her.

According to her, her unique physical form occasioned her rise to stardom.

In an interview on Citi TV, the beloved actress, best known for her iconic role in the television series Obra reflected on how her distinct appearance has played a crucial role in her successful acting career.

“I am very happy with the way God created me…Maybe if He hadn’t created me like this, I wouldn’t be a superstar,” Adwoa Smart remarked.

She went on to share a personal story from her early days selling goods at Circle, a popular commercial hub in Accra.

According to Adwoa Smart, her unique appearance attracted so much attention that customers would flock to her, and even other sellers sought her out to sit by their goods to boost their sales.

“I sell…people buy my goods just because of my unique appearance…It got to a point where other sellers were hiring me just to sit behind their goods so that my presence would attract people to buy from them,” she recounted.

In addition to her reflections, Adwoa Smart offered words of advice, urging people to embrace and be content with the way they are.

“Irrespective of how God created you, be content… He has a purpose for doing that,” she advised.
