Kennedy Agyapong, a Presidential Aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is set to embark on a significant visit to the Savannah region as part of his campaign across the country.
His visit aims to engage with the people, understand their concerns, and outline his vision for a prosperous Ghana.
During his visit, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong will tour all seven constituencies in the Savannah region, where he will have the honor of meeting with various interest groups to enable him to listen to the needs and aspirations of the people, with a particular focus on the grassroots level.
He is also expected to pay a courtesy call on the revered traditional leaders, clergy, stakeholders, and members of the party to foster a deep understanding of the local context and strengthen the bond between the people of the Savannah region and Mr. Agyapong as well as the New Patriotic Party.
The Savannah Region Campaign Coordinator for Kennedy Agyapong, Mayoyo Amin Sulemana, revealed that Mr. Agyapong will meet with the delegates, who form an essential part of the NPP’s decision-making process to make his vision known to them and solicit their support to lead the party in the upcoming Presidential Primaries of the NPP.
“These delegates comprise polling station, constituency, regional executives, as well as the council of elders and patrons of the party. Mr. Agyapong recognizes the pivotal role these delegates play in shaping the party’s future, and he values their insights and contributions.”
According to him, as part of Mr. Agyapong’s campaign visitation will grant live radio interviews on some selected radio stations in the region to spell out his vision for the party and Ghana.
“Kennedy Agyapong has emerged as one of the frontrunners in the NPP’s presidential race. He is widely regarded as a champion of the grassroots and a staunch advocate for the empowerment of party youth. His firm commitment to the development and growth of the New Patriotic Party has earned him the reputation of being one of the party’s major financiers over the years.”
He indicated that the visit to the Savannah region represents an integral part of Mr. Agyapong’s comprehensive campaign strategy and demonstrates his dedication to reaching out to every corner of Ghana, listening to the concerns of all citizens, especially party faithful, and offering solutions that address their needs.
