THE Minister of Roads and Highway, Kwasi Amoako-Atta, will be meeting the Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma in the Ashanti Region, Kofi Amankwa Manu, on Wednesday to determine the fate of the bad roads in the constituency.
The government’s laid out plan to tackle the deplorable road network in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency would be the main agenda of the impending meeting.
Kofi Amankwa Manu, who made this known on Akoma FM in Kumasi on Friday, said government’s plan to tackle the deplorable road network in the constituency has become necessary to enable the residents to move about their business activities without much difficulty.
He said that he was doing his utmost best to help get the bad roads in his constituency fixed.
According to him, as part of his efforts, he approached the Minister of Roads recently, where the two decided to meet on Wednesday to talk about the roads.
According to him, it is not a secret that Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency has deplorable road network which needs immediate attention, saying “even my colleague MPs usually sympathize with me over the deplorable road network in my constituency and this shows how deplorable our roads have become.”
