Napo’s Brother Shakes Manhyia South

A scene during the event

NEW PATRIOTIC Party (NPP) members in the Manhyia South Constituency are poised to campaign to help the ruling party retain political power on December 7.

This follows an appeal made to them by Nana Owusu Afriyie Prempeh, a younger brother of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, aka Napo, the NPP vice presidential candidate.

According to him, the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration has worked tirelessly to put the country on the path of prosperity, despite external shocks.

In this regard, he stated emphatically that the NPP presidential pair of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh should win the next elections.

“President Akufo-Addo has constructed a solid foundation for massive growth and we need the NPP in power on December 7 to build on where he will be leaving off,” he said.

Nana Owusu contested the NPP parliamentary primary in Manhyia South on July 14 to elect Napo’s successor, but he unfortunately lost the election.

Despite the defeat, Nana Owusu is still determined work assiduously to help the NPP to retain political power and continue with their good works.

On Sunday, he organised a street party at Ash Town, in the Manhyia South Constituency, where food and drinks were served to scores of people, amid drumming and dancing.

“The Manhyia South polls are over so the hard work starts from now. We are to campaign harder than ever in order to ensure a resounding victory for the NPP in December,” Nana Owusu disclosed.

“Don’t forget that my blood brother is the NPP running mate, so we need to honour him by ensuring that the NPP wins the election,” he said, attracting wild applause from the crowd.

Nana Owusu also called for unity in the Manhyia South Constituency to ensure victory, urging the party members to start campaigning for the NPP.
