Officials cutting the tape to officially open the Accra-New Town Branch
THE NATIONAL Investment Bank (NIB) has opened its 49th branch at Accra New-Town.
This brings the total number of NIB branches in Greater Accra to twenty-one (21).
The Bank has opened twenty-one (21) new branches since January 2015 across the length and breadth of the country since it embarked on this branch expansion drive.
The Accra New-Town NIB branch has been located in the Accra New-Town locality due to the burst commercial activities in the area. The opening of the branch is also in fulfilment of NIB’s promise to bring banking to the door steps of customers.
The presence of the branch will enable NIB contribute towards the nurturing and growth of businesses in the area, most of which are SMEs who need the support NIB is poised to offer towards their growth.
CEO of NIB, John Kweku Asamoah, urged customers to take advantage of NIB’s branch network expansion and enjoy the convenience and numerous opportunities it delivers to them.
He also assured that NIB is continually improving the bank’s technology and operations to avert system downturns and deliver reliable service at all times. The issuance of Mastercard is one of such interventions which ensures that customers can have easy access to their monies both in Ghana and beyond at any time.
He reminded customers of the NIB Consumer Finance product “We Pay for Your Dreams”, adding that NIB is willing to ensure customers and hardworking Ghanaians enjoy the best things in life through the product.”
Mr. Asamoah gave the assurance that, more products and services are to be introduced by NIB so as to continually deliver convenience to customers.
Mr. Asamoah further encouraged staff to be hard working and disciplined in their attitude to work and most especially towards customers. He also cautioned staff to unite in delivering excellent and seamless customer service and added that they should hold customers dear to their heart, empathize with them as they provide them with all the needed support.
