‘NPP 2020 Victory Will Be Massive’

Okatakyie Amankwaa Afrifa, popularly called ‘OKT,’ who is aspiring to become the Western Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has revealed that the party would win massively in the 2020 general elections.

The then presidential candidate of the NPP in the 2016 elections, Nana Akufo-Addo, obtained 53.85 percent of total votes cast, as against 44.40 percent by former President Mahama, who was the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

“The NPP’s victory in 2020 will be massive just like the 2016 general elections,” OKT emphasized.

Speaking to DAILY GUIDE, the aspirant mentioned that the party was committed to fulfilling its campaign promises.

“I am saying this because the appointees of President Akufo-Addo are working hard to ensure that we honour our promises.

“We will make sure that we create more job opportunities because this victory that we achieved should not be just for a term but continue for more than 20 years,” he added.

He revealed that “I am therefore appealing to all Ghanaians to continue to support the president.  And to my fellow party I will say let us continue preaching the good works of the government and convince other individuals from other political parties to join the elephant family,” he noted.

He pledged to work assiduously with other executives to increase the number of seats of the NPP in the region when given the nod in the upcoming regional congress.

He noted that his main objective is to provide strategic and innovative policies to motivate the party’s foot-soldiers to contribute meaningfully to the party’s campaign in 2020.

The NPP Regional Secretary aspirant stated he would work diligently as the administrator and general manager of the party in the region to enhance broad political branding, re-engineering, re-tooling and communication tactics.
