Papa Bills
The host of Gospel Keteke on Adom FM, Papa Bills, last Saturday took home the best gospel DJ of the year award at this year’s Ghana DJ Awards held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
The Ghana DJ Awards was organised by Merqury Republic Events to award hardworking Ghanaian DJs who have helped in promoting Ghanaian music in many ways.
Papa Bills, who is the producer of Work & Happiness on Adom FM, said he deserved to be honoured for his contribution to the development of the disc jockey industry.
He added, “I feel so honoured and I thank God for the award. I will continue to work hard on in the coming years to ensure that I bag more awards. Also, this award would not have been possible without my listeners and fans. They have been very supportive throughout this journey”.
An elated Papa Bills paid tribute to all those who have made an impact in his illustrious career.
Though he does not talk on air, his musical selections and jingles catapulted him to fame. Today, he is one of best known radio personalities in the country.
Born Bills Gborgli, Papa Bills is a household name when it comes to production and presentation in radio broadcasting.
He has been with the Multimedia Ghana Limited since 2005 and has, thus, acquired a vast experience in the radio business.
