Alhaji Alidu Seidu and other dignitaries cutting tape to open the health centre at Parkoso
An ultra-modern health centre has been commissioned at Parkoso in the Asokore Mampong Municipality.
The project was constructed within a six-month period, following a passionate request to the municipal assembly.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Asokore Mampong Municipality, Alidu Seidu, disclosed that it was financed through the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF).
The facility boasts of a male ward, female ward, maternity ward, a laboratory and medical equipment.
Alidu Seidu stated that the facility would help bring medical care at the doorstep of the residents of Parkoso.
He assured that the facility would be upgraded into a higher medical institution very soon to boost healthcare delivery.
Alidu Seidu said President Akufo-Addo has the well-being of Ghanaians at heart, hence investing heavily in the health sector.
He admonished nurses and other health workers that would work in the facility to show respect to their patients at all times.
The Asokore Mampong MCE also entreated managers of the health centre to take good care of the facility to ensure its longevity.
Nana Barfi Adomako, the Gyasihene of Parkoso, lauded the MCE for his vision in constructing the health center.
