Pastor Kofy Tipped To Win Award @ NGMA

Pastor Kofy

Pastor Kofy has been tipped to win an award at this year’s edition of the National Gospel Music Awards (NGMA), which is slated for December 22 at the CCB Auditorium in Kumasi.

With a number of hit songs to his credit, Pastor Kofy has been nominated for male worship song of the year, best prayer song of the year, best gospel album of the year and vibrant male artiste of the year categories.

Based on his outstanding achievements in the gospel music scene so far, Pastor Kofy believes his hard work in the industry in the year under review will earn him two or more awards this year.

In a statement, he urged all his fans and other gospel music lovers to vote for him to enable him to win all the four awards he has been nominated for.

According to him, even though there are some key contenders for the awards, he stands a chance of winning more than two awards.

Pastor Kofy recently released hit single titled ‘Yehowa’, featuring award-winning South African gospel artiste, Ayanda Ntanzi.

The song which was launched on Koko Records under Nqubeko Mbatha is enjoying rotation on some popular radio stations across the country.

NGMA, which is being organised by Royal Akofena, is an award scheme that seeks to honour and appreciate gospel musicians who have released work(s) that have generated the most public excitement within the calendar year of the scheme.
