Patapaa
Patapaa is getting all the accolades for his performance at the just-ended ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ concert in Accra.
Unlike previous year’s performance which saw Ghanaians and Nigerians spend all the time debating over which of the respective country’s artistes won the night after the concert, this year’s was different. It appears everyone is just interested in rating individual artiste’s performances, and Patapaa is winning in that space.
Many who had underestimated him in the past have now joined the praise singing team all due to his performance at the concert.
He, indeed, entertained the crowd which stood for long hours and kept cheering him on throughout his performance on Saturday.
His introduction onto stage was different and it was uniquely done by a young lady who was clad in a splendid traditional outfit.
Patapaa entered the stage clad in a white and red vestment with five other guys who were also dressed like him.
He started off with a Christian song and subsequently invited Article Wan to join him on stage to perform their new song. He also performed ‘One Corner’ and ‘Akwaaba’.
Indeed, he was one of the artistes who made great use of the stage which was set in the middle of the crowd. Most of the artistes only used two ends of the stage, but Patapaa moved to all four corners of the stage to connect with the fans there.
Also, his intermittent dance moves got the hearts of the audience who kept screaming his name for more.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Empire Entertainment, Bola Ray, applauded Patapaa for his performance.
“Thank you @patapaa_amisty. The Patapeezy fans must be proud. What a night this young man had! #GhanaMeetsNaija18,” Bola said in a post on Instagram.
