Action is returning in the English Premier League today, June 17, following a long break caused by the outbreak of coronavirus in the UK.
Opening the 2019/2020 season restart project are English Champions, Manchester City will be taking on Arsenal come Wednesday June 17, 2020.
The match scheduled for Etihad Stadium is expected to start at 7:15pm as the Premier League returns to action after a long break due to coronavirus.
The Premier League was suspended in March this year due to the outbreak of the coronavirus in the UK.
Also expected in action tomorrow are Aston Villa who are facing Sheffield United at 5:00pm.
Norwich are to host Southampton on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 5:00pm.
Still on Friday, June 19, Tottenham will take on Man United at 7:15pm, with Watford vs Leicester City scheduled to play on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11:30am
Brighton will also take on Arsenal on Saturday, June 20, at 2:00pm, with West Ham vs Wolves match slated for 4:30pm on the same date per the premier league return fixtures.
At 6:45pm on Saturday, June 20, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace are due to clash.
On Sunday, Aston Villa will return to action for the second time as they face Chelsea at 3:15pm.
And Everton are expected to take on league leaders, Liverpool at the Gordison Park on Sunday, June 21, at about 6:00pm.
Man City will once again be back in action on Monday, June 22, as they play Burnley at 7:00pm.
On Tuesday, June 23, former Champions Leicester City are playing Brighton around 5:00pm, with Tottenham vs West Ham to follow afterwards at 7:15pm.
Norwich City will face Everton on Wednesday, June 24 at 5:00pm. Newcastle United whose $300 million take over by Saudi Arabia has become a subject of controversy, will take on Aston Villa on Wednesday, June 24 at 5:00pm. The third match on the same date is Man United vs Sheffield United which is due to play at 5:00pm.
Likely champions, Liverpool, per the fixtures released by Premier League, will be back in action on June 24 as they take on Crystal Palace at 7:15pm.
On Thursday, June 25, Southampton will host Arsenal at about 5:00pm, with Burnley also expected to host Watford the same date at 5:00pm.
Chelsea will then host Man City at Stanford Bridge on June 25, at 7:15pm.
The League will then take a day’s break on Friday, June 26, and return on Saturday, June 27 as Aston Villa play home to Wolves at 11:30am.
On Sunday, June 28, Watford will enjoy at-home football experience as they host Southampton at 3:30pm. Crystal Palace will then take on Burnley on Monday, June 29 at 7:00pm.
Brighton vs Man United slated for June 30 at 7:15 pm, will wrap up the matches for the month of June.
