Sarkodie Involved In Car Accident

Rapper Sarkodie was involved in an accident whilst travelling with his team on Monday from Accra to Asante Akyem Agogo in the Ashanti Region, where he was billed to perform.

According to Monday reports, Sarkodie’s car skidded off the road into a nearby bush.

But the rapper, who was due to perform with Amakye Dede at the Easter Monday event, fortunately came out of the vehicle unhurt.

A video of him at the accident scene sighted by NEWS-ONE captured him walking from the accident car and talking to someone on his phone.

Before he was whisked away in another car, he made some gestures and pointed his finger at someone among other road users as though he was angry with the person.

It is alleged that the person caused the accident.

Sarkodie’s accident had happened barely two weeks after Ghana buried one of its illustrious daughters in the music industry, Ebony Reigns, who died through road accident.

In a tribute song for the late Ebony Reigns, Sarkodie launched a road safety campaign to reduce traffic accidents and called on authorities to fix Ghana’s roads.

Many people believed Ebony’s death could have been averted if it wasn’t for the deplorable road that she was travelling on.

It is currently not clear what caused Sarkodie’s accident.
