TV3 Goes Off VGMAs Loss & Outfit On Nana Aba At VGMAs

TV3 has come under attacks for losing transmission while its former news anchor, Nana Aba Anamoah, was on stage to present an award.

Nana Aba, who was on stage with a Trace TV representative, decided to use the platform to find out why Trace TV doesn’t play a lot of Ghanaian music videos.

“Why doesn’t Trace play so many Ghanaian music videos,” she asked but before she could end her statement, the transmission went off.

A lot of people who watched the award ceremony on TV took to social media to condemn the TV network, alleging it deliberately took Nana Aba off its screens.

Some people poked fun at the whole scenario on their social media platforms, while others argued it was because it is a wrong platform for Nana Aba to ask such a question.

TV3, they further claimed, didn’t want to promote Trace TV.

Others also alleged TV3 did that to spite Nana Aba because of a misunderstanding between her and the station that led her to move to GHone TV.

But in a tweet, the management of TV3 issued an apology to viewers to clear the air, saying, “We had a technical issue that briefly affected the live feed of the #VGMA2018. Issue was rectified immediately. We got back, so you didn’t miss any of the winners.”
