Three Nigerian nationals have been arrested by the Amasaman police for allegedly dealing in narcotics at a house close to Fise Junction.
The suspects have been identified as Williams Oluwatobi, 20 years, Nathaniel Omoruyi, 22 years, and Nora Samuel.
DSP Efia Tenge, the Accra Regional Police Public Relations Officer, who narrated their arrest to DAILY GUIDE, said Amasaman divisional patrol team arrested the three suspects on January 20, 2021.
She said the police during their usual patrols gathered intelligence that some group of people had assembled at a house at Fise and were dealing in narcotics.
“The team proceeded to the house located behind Amasaman Technical High School where the three Nigerian nationals were arrested but others managed to escape,” DSP Efia Tenge disclosed.
She said a search conducted in their rooms revealed nine assorted laptops with three chargers, a silver container containing dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, rubber pack containing substance suspected to be narcotic, quantities of wrapped sheets, four assorted mobile phones, a pair of scissors, two smoke lighters, one Nigerian passport and ID card in the name of Ewanfoh Imore Carter and five assorted visa cards.
The suspects are being prepared for court by the police.
