The artiste who is currently signed to Media Excel is confident her second album will get her into the limelight after her debut titled ‘Lala’ which featured Nacee.

The song gained a nomination at the Ghana Gospel Music Awards, organised by Adom FM of the Multi Media Group.

The album launch is expected to attract a large number of personalities from various religious organisations, gospel music fans, as well as fans of Abena Ruthy.

The event will also witness historic live musical performances from other spirit-filled gospel musicians such as Ohemaa Mercy, SP Kofi Sarpong, Cece Twum, Nacee, Joyce Blessing, Joe Mettle, Bernice Offei, Mary Ghansah, Francis Amo, Fafa, Ewurabena and a host of others.

Abena Ruthy, according to the management of Media Excel, headed by Kwasi Ernest, is putting in much effort to exhibit a never-seen-before performance on the day of the album launch.

The gospel artiste who has what it takes to meet the demand of music lovers in Ghana and beyond, released a hit song titled ‘Lean On God’, sampled from Chris Brown’s R&B hit song, ‘Don’t Judge Me’ in 2014.

The three-minutes 53 seconds song encourages people not to give up in life and just depend on God in times of challenges.

The song assures that God is not asleep and will definitely intervene in times of trials and tribulations.
