EMH Global Ghana Limited, a wholly-owned Ghanaian integrated communications and technology agency, has been relaunched, with a commitment to helping rebrand Ghana internationally.

The global communications entity was established in London in 2004 by four Ghanaian nationals to meet the needs of Ghanaians living overseas, especially Ghana’s missions in Europe, America and Asia.

Speaking at the relaunch on Tuesday in Accra, Co-Founder and Director of EMH Global, Philip Osei-Hwere said “tonight we are excited to outdoor our new brand. We have dropped our traditional black and gold colours to red and green.”

He indicated that “our new branding is built on the foundation of diversity and communications. The colours red and green chosen in our branding tell a story on how EMH came to be and the values and goals guiding us.”

Commenting on the journey of EMH Global, he explained that the company was formed with a vision to offer communications to what was then termed the ‘hard to reach’ communities in the UK.

“Interestingly in undertaking our work, it struck us that Ghana and the Ghanaian community in the UK were not receiving much publicity and promotion within the UK.”

“We saw a gap and decided to slightly turn our attention to start discussions with the Ghana High Commission in UK to allow us to partner with them to use our expertise to raise the image or should I say the profile of the Mission which is the first impression of Ghana for any visitor or business person looking to visit Ghana.”

“Our plan was to create a positive image for the Mission both internally and externally with the aim of making the services at the Ghana Mission at par and ultimately go beyond the services being offered by other missions of developed countries in the UK.”

EMH Global’s technology team proposed, developed and implemented eCIMS (Electronic Consular Management System), EMH’s fully integrated online visa and passport application system at the Ghana High Commission and its consulates in Dublin and Glasgow,” he said.

He added that with the success of ECIMS in London and New York Missions, we have received a number of requests from other African Missions looking to adopt a similar online application system.

With time, EMH began getting contracts in Ghana and this compelled the directors of EMH Global to open an office in Accra in 2008.

“Our unique selling point was to offer communications support to government agencies that had operations or were looking to undertake activities outside Ghana. EMH Global was privileged to have established relationship with other corporate entities such as Ghana Forestry Commission, Ghana Cocoa Board, Cocoa Marketing Company, Volta River Authority, just to mention a few. This relationship, we are proud to say, has been maintained to date. Over the past 14 years, EMH Global has grown at a very fast pace. We have established offices in India and New York to facilitate our activities in Asia and America.

“We have also attracted and recruited an excellent team of strategists, creative graphic designers, producers, information and communication technologists and business experts with wide and varied business backgrounds.

In Ghana over the past eight years, we have been servicing purely the relationships established through our London Office while studying the Ghanaian market.
