Management and staff of National Investment Bank (NIB) Limited recently embarked on a health walk in some principal streets of Accra as part of activities marking the bank’s 55th anniversary celebration.
More than 600 staff from 22 branches of NIB within the Accra-Tema Zone took part in the 10-kilometer which started from the El-Wak Sports Stadium through the 37 Military Hospital area, Golden Tulip, Opebia House, CFAO, Aviation Social Centre.
It climaxed at the Burma Camp Sports Complex with an energetic aerobics session and fun games.
Other four zones of the bank also participated in the health walk in their respective regions.
Charles Wordey, Head of Corporate Affairs of NIB, who spoke to journalists, said the health walk was to promote physical exercise to improve their fitness and strength.
