Moses Abor, who has served as the Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the past six years, has announced his resignation from the position.
The resignation is effective from Monday, September 18, 2023. Moses Abor expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve in that position and added that he had worked with dedicated and passionate individuals who shared the common goal of advancing the principles and ideals of the NPP within the Greater Accra Region.
He announced his intention to contest the upcoming parliamentary primary for the Ayawaso Central Constituency, a seat currently held by Henry Quartey, the Greater Accra Regional Minister.
Moses Abor stated that his decision to resign and contest for the parliamentary seat aligns with his personal commitment to serve the NPP and contribute more directly to the legislative process.
This news comes as a surprise to many NPP supporters who had hoped that Moses Abor would continue in his role as the Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer.
However, his decision to move on to a different role within the party shows his commitment to serving in any capacity that would promote the party’s growth and development.
The NPP leadership has not yet announced who will replace Moses Abor as the Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer.
