Teen Queen Ghana Takes Off In Style

 

Teens reality show, Teen Queen Ghana got off to a flying start, with an impressive unveiling ceremony on Saturday, live on Accra-based CTV.

The ten delegates Adoma, Dansoa, Kessewaa, Yaa Kwaah, Ehun, Asiedua, Yaaba, Nana Ama, Sese and Barikisu
demonstrated brilliance in their respective performances to the admiration of the audience and judges Charity Twumasi Ankrah of Chatma Herbal Clinic fame and Terrance .

The delegates endeared themselves to the large gathering with rich cultural display, poetry, singing and dancing.

And after the two- hour well organized show, it was Yaa Kwaah who emerged as the best performer and most eloquent whilst Nana Ama won best costume prizes.

The eight-week long show, designed for girls between ages 13 to 19 continues this weekend with delegates tasked to present challenges female teens go through in life.

Organizers of the event, ASKOF Productions CEO, Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum in a post-event interview stated “It’s been awesome, it is the maiden edition so we expected some teething challenges, which is normal to every event, but l will say they were minimal; Kudos to the hardworking CTV crew and my team- Freddie Fosu, Eugene Ofori, Ike Amponsah, Efya Trendy and Felicity Sampah .

” We just started, but l can promise, we are in for a real show, we are expecting the very best from our delegates, they have demonstrated that given the chance, they will wow us as stated in simple terms.”

Winner of the competition is expected to travel outside the country plus other goodies from sponsors.

It is being sponsored by Flora Tissus, McBerry Biscuits, Chartma Herbal Clinic , Top Choco and Essential Cosmetics.
