A scene from the launch

This year’s edition of the much-awaited Eat Drink Music Festival (EDM) will take place on October 26 and 27 at the Ghud Park, Accra Mall.

The event, which is expected to attract thousands of people from all walks of life, will offer an exciting mix of traditional and contemporary food, music, art, and culture on a larger scale.

This year’s edition of the annual event was launched on October 10, 2024 at the plush Telande Tea Garden in Accra.

The launch ceremony was attended by members of the media, event partners, vendors, sponsors as well as creative industry stakeholders.

This year’s festival boasts an impressive lineup of activities. More than 50 top food and drink vendors will be featured, including Rockz Waakye, KOA Natural Cocoa Fruit Juice, Pizzaman Chickenman, Smokey Grill, Delay Foods, Dzinat Foods, and Cocktail Laboratory.

It will witness performances from some selected Ghanaian artistes and disc jockeys (DJs) who will thrill fans.

Artistes to perform at the event include R2bees, E.L, Keche, Kwabena Kwabena, King Ayisoba, Olivetheboy, BeatzTrap, Adina, TiTi Owusu and a host of others.

A number of celebrated DJs have been invited to perform alongside the artistes billed for the event. Top fashion designers have also been invited to showcase stunning collections, among others.

Thousands of guests who will attend the festival each day will be treated to good music and sumptuous meals.

The organisers however announced a partnership with Platinum Events Africa to host the festival in Zambia this December as part of the country’s 60th independence anniversary celebrations.

This strategic move presents an excellent opportunity for growth and brings EDM’s unique experience to a broader audience.
