Tragedy struck during the enskinment ceremony of the new Naa Gamu of the Ga-Muslim community in Nungua West after she was reportedly shot by an unidentified person.
Reports indicate that despite being rushed to the hospital after the incident, she sadly passed.
This tragic incident occurred last Saturday during her outdooring.
The community has been thrown into a state of mourning, a number of the indigenes claimed that the shot was fired from nearby twice during the traditional procession.
Sources told Daily Guide that the officers from the Nungua Police Station have begun an investigation to arrest persons involved in the tragic killing of Naa Gamu.
