Workers of Delta Airlines
For the seventh consecutive year, Delta Air Lines has earned a place on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list, ranking No. 9 this year.
Among the 100 companies honoured, Delta is the only commercial airline to make the list.
“Being recognised among the top 10 best companies to work for demonstrates the power of our people-first culture,” said Ed Bastian, Chief Executive Officer.
“Delta is a place where people can grow, innovate and do their best work thanks to our culture of care, trust and servant leadership,” he added.
He noted that Delta’s workforce drives the company’s success.
“Our people drive our success, which is why when Delta does well, they share in that reward. From paying out more profit-sharing than our competitors combined to another pay raise coming in 2026, we believe that investing in employees is investing in the continued success of Delta.
“We also offer unique benefits like free and reduced travel, as well as emotional, physical and financial wellness programmes that help our people and their families thrive at every stage of life. Our ‘Keep Climbing’ approach to continuous improvement also ensures employee feedback shapes our decisions,” Mr. Bastian said.
The recognition reinforces Delta’s position as one of America’s most awarded airlines and comes on the heels of several other honours, including being named one of Glassdoor’s 2026 Top 100 Best Places to Work, ranking No. 11 on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies list, being listed among the 2025 Fortune Best Workplaces for Women, and placing No. 3 on the 2025 People Companies That Care list.
Additionally, Fortune, in partnership with research firm Great Place to Work, surveyed millions of employees to determine what makes them value their work and how employers create exceptional workplaces.
The survey measures six key components, namely values, innovation, financial growth, leadership effectiveness, maximising human potential, and trust.
