In 2021, Eagle initiated the Eagle Ultimate Draught Championship which crowned three (3) regional champions in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi.
On July 8, 2022, the Ghana Draft Association was inaugurated at the Manhyia Palace, Regional House of Chiefs Hall, into a fully recognised sporting body.
At the inauguration ceremony, Eagle pledged to continue its full support to the game of champions. The brands partnership with the Ghana Draught Association seeks to grow the sport from the community, to regional and national levels in subsequent years.
Eagle Lager will continue to offer its full support and this year’s upcoming Eagle National Draught Championship is in honor of HRM Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. The event is set for 29th to 31st July, at the forecourt of The Menhyia Palace. The regional champions will come from across the country to face off in the who-is-who of draughts.
