A talent show aimed at encouraging, motivating, and rewarding the creativity of young Ghanaian artists in France and Europe will be launched in Paris on Saturday, July 6, 2024.
Named the Adamfopa Talent Quest Show, the inaugural edition of the event seeks to create professional and career opportunities for Ghanaian youth born or residing in France and other parts of Europe.
The show aims to enhance the creative skills of young artists passionate about arts, entertainment, singing, rapping, acting, and other creative talents, using their abilities to promote Ghanaian culture, traditions, music, and values abroad.
Yaw Bannor Asamoah, General Manager of Adamfopa Media in Paris, said the main objective of this initiative is to help young upcoming artistes to appreciate their talents in the creative space.
He said many Ghanaians or Africans born abroad have creative values which need to be harnessed at the tender age to direct such talents in promoting the cultural and traditional values of the continent.
In view of this, Mr. Asamoah hinted that the Adamfopa Talent Quest Show seeks to act as a conduit for connecting Ghanaian artists in Ghana and their counterparts abroad.
According to him, the Adamfopa Talent Quest Show will become the preferred platform to mentor young Ghanaian and African artists in Europe adding that the talent who would help unearthed hidden skills and talents of young Africans in Europe.
Winners of the maiden edition would be given the opportunity to be mentored by A-list music artistes, accomplished film makers and other high profiled celebrities in their various fields of career.
Mr. Asamoah hinted that his media outlet has partnered with a Ghanaian based event production company in Ghana, RAM Media Concepts in co-host and organize the event in Paris.
When contacted, the Chief Executive Officer of Ram Media Concepts- the Ghanaian based event management company, Mr. Augustine Mark, confirmed their partnership with Adamfopa Media in organizing the Adamfopa Talent Quest Show in Paris.
He said the company recons the importance of such a laudable initiative and has therefore partnered the France based media house in producing the event.
Mr. Augustine further explained the talent show would be crowned by a musical concert dubbed unveiling the Ghanaian experience music concert which has been scheduled for 21st and 22nd September, 2024 in Paris.
He also hinted some Ghanaian artists from Ghana would be performing at the finales of the talent show in Paris, mentioning Ghana’s sensational reggae dancehall artists, Samini and Abrewa Nana and Jupitar would be the headline artists of the main event adding that other acts like Pinky Pecks, afro dance sensation Allo Danny amongst other artists have been billed to perform on the finals of the talent quest show.
