Adjoa Asiedu Files For Ayensuano Parliamentary Seat, Vows To Reclaim Traditional NPP Seat

In a historic move, Ida Adjoa Asiedu, the first female New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Ayensuano constituency in the Eastern Region, has officially filed her nomination papers with the Electoral Commission at Asuboi.

The businesswoman Adjoa Asiedu’s candidacy marks a significant milestone in her political journey as she seeks to champion the development of Ayensuano, empower women and youth, and prioritize the needs of her constituents.

With a clear mission in mind, Ida Asiedu is committed to working tirelessly to ensure that the voices of the people of Ayensuano are heard and their concerns addressed.

Her campaign strategy involves a house-to-house approach, where she engages with voters in the villages, explaining the policies of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and urging them to support her bid for parliament.

As a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, she is focused on driving change and promoting equality of life for all.

Her message resonates with the constituents, who are eager for a leader who will address their pressing needs.

Ida Asiedu’s campaign slogan, “Let’s work together to create a brighter future for our constituency,” echoes her commitment to collaboration and collective progress.

She has pledged to get the traditional seat of the NPP back, which was lost to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 elections.

Undaunted by the challenge ahead, Asiedu declared, “We will not rest until the final ballot is counted, and we emerge victorious – with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as our President and me as your next MP, as the NPP seeks to break the 8-year cycle and make history by electing Dr. Bawumia as the next President of Ghana.

However, with her focus on women’s empowerment, community development, and transformative change, Asiedu is poised to make a difference in the Ayensuano constituency.

Her determination and commitment to the people of Ayensuano have earned her the support of many, who believe that she is the right candidate to bring about positive change in the community.
