AK Songstress has completed work on her latest single which features Afro-pop artiste Efya.
The title of her single ‘Wonua’, produced by Paradise Entertainment, has added to the increasing number of singles released by AK Songstress.
The single is expected to make airwaves across the country when it is finally released on May 8.
The song, which is expected to meet the demand of all music lovers, would be made available on iTunes, Amazon, Deezer, Spotify, among others.
As a recording and performing artiste, AK can best be described as multi-talented and a versatile artiste with a vision.
Hopes are that AK Songstress would climb up the chart in a matter of weeks after the song has been released.
AK is recognised as one of Ghana’s successful female music icons. The dancehall artiste is credited with a number of hit songs such as ‘King of Queens’, ‘Baddest’, ‘Don’t You Dare’, ‘Want U Close’, ‘Ghetto Cry’ featuring Sizzla, ‘Dangerous’ featuring 4×4, ‘Rock Ur Body’ featuring Patoranking, among others.
She has performed on a lot of stages across the country, including performing with some of the celebrated local and international artistes.
AK has also won a number of awards, including the best female dancehall artiste of the year award at the Ghana Naija Showbiz Awards held in 2017 in Lagos, Nigeria.
She is the first female to ever win the discovery of the year for dancehall/reggae artiste at the 2014 BASS Awards in the midst of male contenders.
AK Songstress was discovered some years ago by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Paradise Entertainment, Duke Banson.
