Odeneho Kwaku Appiah delivering his address
Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for Afigya Kwabre South, has said President Akufo-Addo is focused and no amount of propaganda can distract him.
He said Ghana would have developed even faster if Nana Akufo-Addo had become President in 2009 and added that since he assumed office, he had been able to put many things right, and is on course to make Ghana’s economy stronger.
Speaking during the opening of a workshop for NPP Women Organisers at Afigya Kwabre South Constituency on Friday under the theme: “Election 2020: The Role of Polling Station Women Organisers,’ Odeneho Appiah said the country’s economy was in tatters due to the incompetent manner the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) government managed the affairs of state. He said President Akufo-Addo had worked hard to save the situation.
According to him, the President’s record of providing jobs cannot be matched by the NDC administration, adding that he solved the power crisis and introduced some social intervention programmes like the Free SHS policy, among others.
Odeneho commended President Akufo-Addo “for his hard work, patriotism and visionary leadership that have suddenly led to the transformation of the country.”
Odeneho Appiah, who is very influential in the NPP in the Ashanti Region, stated that the country needed President Nana Akufo-Addo urgently in political office to benefit from him, adding “Nana Akufo-Addo has shown that he is a caring and hard-working leader and he must be supported to help this country.”
He tasked NPP members, especially the polling station women organisers, to embrace hard work by campaigning vigorously for President Akufo-Addo and the party to ensure victory in 2020.
