Celebrated Ghanaian disc jockey (DJ) and radio presenter, Andrew Akwasi Amoh, known on radio as Andy Dosty, will today thrill music fans with the third edition of his event dubbed ‘Old School Party’ at Soho, Marina Mall, Airport City in Accra.
Soho (inside Marina Mall) will be serenaded today, August 2, 2024, with a myriad of truly old school Ghanaian music dating back to the 1980s and beyond.
A few carefully chosen old school DJs, who are professionals with decades of experience in the music industry, have been invited to play a variety of old school tunes to excite attendees and music industry stakeholders.
Set to perform alongside Andy Dosty at the Old School Party on the night are some of Ghana’s finest DJs, namely DJ Mensah, DJ Aligation, DJ Solo, DJ Baylor, DJ Phantom and MC DJ Viper.
Old school music fans will enjoy a number of timeless songs at the event, including “Electric Boogie” by Marcia Griffiths, “Friends” by Shalamar, “Party Night” by T-Connection, “For the Love of You” by Raphael Cameroun, “Holiday” by Madonna, “Upside Down” by Diana Ross, “Ring My Bell” by Anita Baker, and “Give To Me” by Rick James.
For those who missed the previous editions, today’s event offers a chance to catch the excitement.
It is anticipated that the event would unite a sizable number of sophisticated fans of classic school music on one stage to share memories of their time in school.
