Bambini TV Launches Children In Media Academy

 

Chief Executive Officer of Bambini TV, Matthew Essuman has officially launched the Children In Media Academy, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at empowering children and young people with practical media skills while promoting Ghanaian and African cultural values.

According to him, the launch of the academy was born-out of the fact that television remains a notable medium through which many children access visual content, with research showing that children watch TV programmes, including folktales, cartoons, and educational shows as part of their media diet.

He added that cartoons, animated shows often rank among the most-watched content for youngsters, the launch of the academy seeks to champion the use of media as a tool for education, creativity, and positive social impact, particularly among children.

Mr. Essuman mentioned that since its inception, Bambini TV has established itself as a trusted platform dedicated to children and family-friendly programming.

Adding that the station has produced and broadcast innovative educational shows, talent development programmes, children’s talk shows, and cultural events that celebrate creativity, learning, and moral values.

“The Children In Media Academy is designed to equip children and young people with hands-on training in various areas of media production, including television presenting, camera work, video editing, animation, scriptwriting, and digital content creation” he added.
