Bosch Power Tools Ghana has introduced a cordless screwdriver dubbed, ‘Bosch Go’ onto the Ghanaian market.
The all new screwdriver is a break away from the conventional system where one has to exert some level of pressure on a normal screwdriver to perform a function.
The tool, which comes in a plastic case, ‘Bosch Go Kit’ has 33 screwdriver bits, a USB adapter and cable for charging the lithium-ion battery with a laptop or desktop device.
Julian Perigrino Nelson, Regional Business Developer for Anglophone West Africa, who led the demonstration of the new product at the company’s Airport offices, indicated that the product, which can only be purchased from the company’s accredited agents, has been manufactured to enhance work efficiency and output.
“The fourth industrial revolution provides the platform for an evolving education system to prepare the youth today to face the challenges of tomorrow, and it’s for this purpose that Bosch is always out to introduce new product designs that have very good work efficiency and durability to meet every pocket,” he added.
Today’s artisans, technicians, students in technical institutions and apprentices among others, expect a device to enhance performance, longer lifetime, compact designs and better and faster charging cycles, Benjy Ofori, Country Business Director for Bosch Power Tools, disclosed.
He further mentioned that his outfit has collaborated with various technical institutions, artisans associations and groups in the country in a bid to constantly keep them abreast with technical market trends which can enhance their work.
