Ofori interacting with dealers and end users
Bosch Ghana, a subsidiary of the leading global supplier of technology and services, said plans are far advanced to increase its market share and provide significant value-add to the Ghanaian economy.
The company intends to achieve its vision by being instrumental in building an automotive industry, providing machinery for modern food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as security and thermos-technology systems.
Benjy Ofori, Regional Sales Director West/Central Africa, who made this known at a day’s Bosch conference with dealers and end users in Accra, said “we seek to increase our market share through strengthening Bosch’s presence in the market, creating brand awareness, providing local training to users and retailers, offering affordable tools and extending our distribution coverage.”
He said the company will increase its output and overall growth of businesses, stating that the Bosch Power Tools Division is customer-focused and epitomizes great engineering progress.
Mr Ofori said Bosch has recorded significant successes in the innovation of power tools, power tool accessories and measuring tools.
In order to reinforce the customer-centric approach, he said Bosch in Ghana will be looking at reinforcing its brand visibility in hardware markets through new innovations such as the Bosch Power Box, specialized outlets and also by extending distribution within key cities such as Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi.
The Bosch Group, which officially set up a country office last year after over two decades of existence in the country through various distributors and agents, is renowned for its leadership in mobility solutions, industrial technology, consumer goods, energy and building technology.
The maiden interactive conference yesterday comprised presentations, training sessions and exhibitions during which information on Bosch’s products and service portfolios for Ghana was shared with participants.
